I appreciate that, Mr. Chairman. And in reclaiming my time, my concern clearly is that as we have this broader immigration debate in our country, what this provision in the bill seems to say is that for the 11 million or so people who are here, having come under a variety of circumstances, that every one of them would be subject to an immediate 6-months prison term.
