This is not a partisan issue. You are--we should be looking at every possible way to get universities to ensure that they are living up to their own ideals.

The response of many university presidents and chancellors to these events has been woefully inadequate, and completely lacking in leadership.

It goes far deeper than that. I think it is appalling that we think we have to call a committee hearing to address something that is so fundamental in the raising of our children.

We make sure it is not just the Holocaust that we are studying, but the contributions of Jewish Americans to our country.
