“I thank my friend from California. There are a lot of opportunities that we as Members have to participate in the process and to see the impact of the decisions that we make. The opportunity that we had to spend some time in the community that had just been attacked with that rocket fire reminds us of what we are doing here this evening, what President Obama did at the United Nations earlier today, and what our allies throughout the world hopefully will do in standing up to support the one great democratic nation in the Middle East, why that is so vitally important.”
