we should vote against the previous question, we should vote against the rule and if it passes, we should vote against this bill. It is the wrong time to be cutting taxes. We ought to be cutting the deficit. It is the wrong time, it is the wrong way to be cutting taxes, even if we should be cutting them. This is a terrible gag rule. We are going to do nothing for 3 weeks after Friday. Why can we not spend enough time talking about the impact of this bill instead of gagging us with 1 hour to all the Democrats to talk about the tax matter, a $700 billion mistake?
