One of the things that Mr. Hodes is pointing out is that the people that we're talking about are working families. We're not talking about necessarily people that aren't working. We're not only talking about what people in this country may think of as destitute people, poor. There are a lot of those people also that we're trying to, as Americans, give a helping hand which we're always, of course every one of us is committed to doing. But we're talking about a lot of middle-class people. And there's so many issues out there today. ... to really take a look at what's happening to working families and what we can do to give them a hand up, not a hand out, but a hand up, and empower them.
