Mr. President, it is with heavy heart that I stand here today and remember this dark day in Florida's history. I thank my colleagues for joining me to honor the 49 lives lost far too soon in a terror attack on Pulse nightclub nearly 5 years ago. While nothing can ever bring back the lives lost, I am glad we are able to come together to stand for love and kindness over hate and evil in this world. I yield the floor. ____________________
