I just want to add one thing. With all of the advances in medicine, some of the most beneficiary advancements include our ability to detect diseases before they become life threatening. Under the President's plan, these types of screening would also be covered. We all know that one ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This is a perfect example of how we can use medicine advanced to make smart and cost effective changes in the way we deliver health care. I really want to commend the President for coming forth with this recommendation, and I am hoping that we in the Congress will look very seriously at his proposal, and that the community will get involved, and that different groups that support elderly get involved so that we can pass a bill.
