I just want to think about these children that I met. The children are innocent. In many cases the families, the male or female, could be innocent, but this system does not distinguish the innocent from the guilty, or the misdemeanors from the major. So we have the responsibility to do what we can to make the system better. As Americans, we may be thinking tonight, well, what does that have to do with me? Do Members know, this is a global world. We used to think the world was big, but the ship is very small. We are all in the ship together. We are going to sink and swim together, so I am going to do all I can, working with my colleagues, to make things better for the children here on this side of the border, and the children that live in the Third Congressional District of Florida.
