Marco Rubio: “We want to see stability and we want to see peace and we want to see prosperity.”

This has to be an endeavor that goes on beyond the next two years. It has to go on for a generation.

I think they’re much better off partnering with the United States. They will benefit greatly from it.

This is a project that will involve sustainment for the long term. Multiple American administrations are going to have to make this a priority.

As long as they continue to endeavor or claim to want one, they’re going to pay a price for it, and that price is going to be primarily economic.
