I think in the 21st century, this partnership with higher education is important, and it’s important for two reasons.

We want a permanent democracy and republic for the future of Venezuela.

In the long term, the future of Venezuela is to have a democratically elected- elected government, in a republic where the country’s leaders are directly accountable to the laws of the country and to the voters of that country.

Nothing that anyone is providing Iran is in any way impeding our ability to act as necessary to protect the United States.
