It is interesting in that you see a broad array of individuals come forward and talk about his qualifications. I also thought it was interesting that there really was no coherent reason for opposing him. There are a lot of different opinions on the floor that claim he would not commit to certain decisions that people would like to see him make on the Court. That would be true of virtually everyone who has been nominated to the Court over the last quarter century.…”
