We have a crisis, a crisis in Florida and across this Nation where our constituents are facing skyrocketing jumps in flood insurance premiums, making homeownership unaffordable. Madam Speaker, floods are not partisan, and homeownership makes communities safer, more secure, and more economically vibrant. Madam Speaker, let's fix this crisis now.

the Don't Say ``Gay'' law is so negative because if a child says something in a class that is under, you know, grade 3, what is a teacher supposed to do?
My concern is the proposed budget cuts and what that would mean to us having these teachers that we need in the classroom.
