I actually came here to thank Chairman Simpson for putting together this great bill, a responsible bill and, again, for putting up with me and working with me on issues dealing with Everglades restoration. I don't have to tell anybody here that is a national treasure. It is important not only for southern Florida's drinking water, but also for our economy. I also want to specifically thank the chairman for his help in the Herbert Hoover Dike, which is crucial, again, for the folks in that area. Again, Mr. Chairman, this is a great bill. Chairman Simpson has a very difficult task. He has done a spectacular job. Again, thank you, sir, for working with me on these important issues.
