Patsy Mink was the first woman of color admitted in Congress, and the first Japanese woman admitted to the bar in Hawaii. So I say, I stand on her shoulders, Mr. Speaker, and I pray that each of us here would take a pattern from Patsy, because she was a great leader who gave service to God for the space she occupied.
