This was a fund-raiser to raise money for the police officers who lost their lives here protecting the Capitol, to make sure that their children have an opportunity to go to college and be all that they can be. Mr. Ryan got caught up into the moment last night. He played quarterback. Made a couple of plays, running the ball, bad knee and all, and ended up hurting his knee. Tonight he comes with not only the will and the desire, but the dedication. He is standing here on one leg with crutches. He is here to deliver the message on behalf of the 30-somethings. We commend your dedication for watching out for not only the American people but those at the U.S. Capitol. We appreciate your sacrifice for being here tonight, standing on a bad leg and trying to recover at the same time.
