Mr. Delahunt, I can't help but grab this rubber stamp and help the Members realize that they are making history in all the wrong ways. This rubber-stamp Republican majority has allowed this President to have free rein, not only on everyday American workers, retirees, veterans and the American taxpayer dollars, this President rubber stamped, okayed by this Republican majority, has borrowed $1.05 trillion from foreign nations. At no other time in the history of this Republic, in 4 years or in 224 years, has that amount of money been borrowed. The Republican rubber-stamp Congress has allowed that to happen. Now we have OPEC countries, Japan, China, Korea, Caribbean, Germany, you name it. They are borrowing. Canada, they are buying our debt. We are borrowing from them. The Republican majority allowed the Bush White House to get what they want as it relates to a rubber stamp. Like I said, it is not even fair. I mean, Time magazine, freshly minted, the 17th edition, folks can either get it in the mail or buy it, I don't have any stock in Time Warner or anything.…
