Data centers cannot come at a cost to neighbors who are already facing high grocery, gas, utility, health care and housing costs.

It’s a unanimous bill on something that is the front burner for everybody across the country right now, and they bury it.

My neighbors across Florida are grappling with skyrocketing electric bills. Ratepayers should not have to subsidize wealthy corporations’ growing energy demands, especially from AI datacenters.

Their sense of duty, pride and belonging cannot be replicated by a private entity.
