My neighbors across Florida are grappling with skyrocketing electric bills. Ratepayers should not have to subsidize wealthy corporations’ growing energy demands, especially from AI datacenters.

The current economic pain being inflicted on hardworking Americans shouldn’t be exacerbated by fraudsters and corporate wrongdoers.

There may be some things to codify that are contained in that settlement, so it doesn’t just apply to Meta, it applies to all platforms.

I’m committed to restoring the FTC’s autonomy and authority, and I urge Congress to pass this important legislation.
