“I thank the gentleman from Pennsylvania for his leadership in helping to guide this legislation and important measure through Congress. This is probably one of the four main jobs bills, too, that we will pass from our committee. We have today the pipeline safety legislation. Our committee has also passed the Coast Guard authorization, and we are hoping we can reach a consensus on that. We have finished and are preconferencing with the Senate the FAA bill which is 4\1/2\ years overdue.…”
