“People look at you like you are dumb. Would you consider giving your property--any of the Members--to the Federal Government to manage? No way, Jose; they would not do it. So this bill has people who really know how to deal and manage real estate look at the properties. We don't even have an inventory of these properties, as some of this gets beyond the pale. But we will get an inventory, we will get a recommendation, and then hopefully do something, make agencies do something. Bureaucrats will do nothing with those properties. They don't think. Their brains are not wired to think. They do nothing smart. They are getting their paycheck. They don't think. So this is the beginning of getting out of the dumb ages into the smart ages, taking those hard-earned public assets, the poor person out there who is dogging it, trying to put food on the table, gas in the car, kids in school, and the government is sitting on huge Federal assets doing nothing.
