I thought the race-baiting a few nights ago was bad, but yesterday they raised the ugly specter of anti-Semitism and that somehow we were unfeeling toward the Jews to observe this very, very holy holiday, which of course we were not, and they knew it. But it was, again, win at all costs, which concerns me. I thought it was very telling at the end of that debate that we had a very honorable Jewish gentleman from New York, a Democrat, stand up and plead. He pleaded.
