On the recordFebruary 16, 1995
It is about time, and I thank the gentleman from Kansas [Mr. Brownback] for his leadership in this area because it is long overdue, and I hope this Congress will move forward, and more than that I hope that the American people that stood up and said, ``Enough is enough,'' on November 8 will continue to take a proactive role and say, ``We're not going to sit back anymore; we are going to change this Government,'' and they will continue to use whatever means possible, whether it is the fax machine, or talk radio, or mail, or e-mail, or the town hall meetings that we are all doing. I hope they will continue to use that and put external pressure on this institution and their own Representative to say enough is enough.
