The 258-page OIG reports finds absolutely no evidence that this Administration and, more specifically, Assistant Attorney General Perez, has made hiring personnel or law enforcement decisions for racial or political reasons.

I find him to be an excellent representative of a public servant, and someone who is committed to doing justice.

This is not mismanagement. It is effective leadership, and that is exactly why Assistant Attorney General Perez has been targeted for criticism in this hearing and elsewhere.
