this month we celebrate the birthday of a great woman in the history of the United States, Susan B. Anthony. Susan B. Anthony is known not only for her fight to gain women the right to vote, but also for her great courage in the stand against abortion. She was a feminist who fought tirelessly to protect the dignity of motherhood, which she believed to be an inherent right of all women. Susan B. Anthony saw abortion as a grave offense against human dignity. I am proud to honor Susan B. Anthony for her dedication to the cause of life, and I hope that my colleagues will join me in this.
