Do opponents of this bill not believe that a child is not mature enough to choose not to smoke, but is mature enough to choose to have a potentially fatal, invasive surgical procedure? The ads cry out, ``Come over here. No parental consent.'' And it is a procedure, as we know, that has been linked to breast cancer, medical complications, and that has left many women barren for the rest of their lives. I call this hypocrisy. It is parents who are aware of their daughter's medical history.…”
