But, more importantly, he was the consummate gentleman. He was principled. He was honest, maintaining civility with his colleagues, a trait that we no longer honor as we should. Bill was an example for all of us here in Congress. It was my privilege and my high honor to serve with him. What a great privilege. I thank the gentleman for yielding me the time.
