Ileana Ros-Lehtinen: “I would like to yield 2 minutes to another Florida colleague (Mrs. Adams), a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.”

I add my support for all the measures before us today.

In 2014, we supported a resolution that this committee passed--Jim McGovern's House Resolution 418, which called for an end to persecution.

The United States and our partners have a responsibility to do everything that we can to ensure humanitarian aid reaches the people of Venezuela.

I am proud to yield 3 minutes to the gentleman from Texas (Mr. Conaway), the chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and the author of this measure.
