Yes, for the first time, States will be able to share information through this integrated database system, providing law enforcement officers with the information they need to investigate threatened acts of terrorism or domestic crimes. The same results would have required many hours to accomplish. Those hours can now be compressed, freeing up limited law enforcement resources to focus on critical priorities, such as responding to terrorist threats.
