Absolutely. I am privileged to serve on the Environment and Public Works Committee with our distinguished colleague from Nevada, and we both know the state of our water and sewer systems are even worse than our transportation system, in terms of their degradation and inadequacy, and with every year that passes, that degree of decline further accelerates. So we have many needs in America to reverse the decline of our infrastructure so that we cannot only have a quality of life today--water systems that will serve our people's needs, highways that are not excessively congested and are safe to drive on but also are absolutely fundamental to our economic well-being.
