Mr. Speaker, last week the administration announced it would delay the employer mandate under ObamaCare. Even though the administration does not have the authority to do this, it is a sign that even the law's authors are realizing the law is unworkable. Under ObamaCare, Americans' premiums are skyrocketing and employers are being forced to cut jobs, hours, and wages. Individuals, families, and businesses all deserve relief from this bad law. This is about fairness--fairness for both hardworking taxpayers and American businesses. While I have long opposed ObamaCare and believe the best solution is full repeal and replacement of the law, we must pass the Authority for Mandate Delay Act to provide greater certainty to all Americans.
