For Haitian families, this is not immigration policy. It is cruelty. It is inhumane. It is a death sentence.

JOBS! JOBS! JOBS! That has always been my mantra because a good job is about far more than a paycheck. It is about dignity, independence, stability, and the ability to provide for your family.

I will also stand with FIU as it delivers critical research and restoration efforts. As a proud steward of the environment, I am proud that this work will positively impact generations of South Floridians.
