Today, I support this resolution in calling on Daniel Ortega to cease all attacks on the Nicaraguan people, release all political prisoners, and set the conditions for free and fair elections.

I was very disappointed to hear the comments of the Chief of Staff. We don't do this all the time, OK? We don't use the power and prestige of America to beat on people for political purposes.
