REVIEW OF INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION PARTICIPATING IN THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. (a) List of Participating Institutions.-- (1) In general.--The Secretary of Defense shall make available, on a publicly accessible website of the Department of Defense, a list that identifies-- (A) each institution of higher education that receives funds under the Department of Defense Tuition Assistance Program; and (B) the amount of such funds received by the institution. (2) Annual updates.--The Secretary of Defense shall update the list described in paragraph (1) not less frequently than once annually. (b) Audit of Certain Institutions.-- (1) In general.--The Secretary of Defense shall audit the eligibility a proprietary institution of higher education to participate in the Department of Defense Tuition Assistance Program if the institution does not meet the financial responsibility standards under section 498 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1099c). (2) Publication required.--The results of each audit conducted under paragraph (1) shall be made available on a publicly accessible website of the Department of Defense not later than 30 days after the date on which the audit is complete.
