The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of division C (before the short title) insert the following: Sec. __. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used by the Department of the Interior to conduct offshore oil and gas leasing, preleasing, or related activities in the Outer Continental Shelf Planning Areas for the South Atlantic, the Straits of Florida, and the areas of the Central and Eastern Gulf of Mexico described by section 104(a) of the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 (Public Law 109-432). The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 445, the gentlewoman from Florida (Ms. Wasserman Schultz) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes.
