“The January 6 Committee. Republicans want to undermine them. Democrats are growing impatient. But, Joy, this week, they painted a picture of a conspiracy to commit an authoritarian toppling of our democracy, a conspiracy that included now members of the legislative branch, the inner circle of the president, from the White House chief of staff, to the former energy secretary, to the political apparatus of the president himself. I think this is clearly going to a level in which you could indict. The Department of Justice could indict sitting members of Congress. The 1/6 Committee won the week.”
