In honor of Black History Month, I would like to recognize Kimberly Saunders. Kimberly Saunders is in her fourth year serving as president of the Central Florida chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Inc., a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to lead in the creation of educational, wealth building, and growth opportunities for those historically underrepresented through their careers as students, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Since 2015, she has served in various volunteer capacities, such as partnerships chair, vice president of operations, and a continuing role as a mentor for the Leaders of Tomorrow program, which serves high school students in the areas of leadership, college and career preparation, financial literacy, and life skills. She has been instrumental in developing corporate partnerships, securing grants, fund-raising, and facilitating programs to provide the organization with resources to serve its members and community through the central Florida region. Her dedication and service to the organization and its mission were recognized in 2021, as she was one of two awardees for Chapter President of the Year by the national organization, which currently has 41 chapters nationwide. Professionally, Kimberly has spent the last 11 years in the financial services industry. She is a managing partner for VestWyze, LLC, a State of Florida registered investment advisory company.…
