This rule, if finalized, will destroy the recreational fishing industry and create massive safety hazards for commercial vessels off the Atlantic Coast.

Today, the subcommittee will receive testimony from the Coast Guard's icebreaking recapitalization efforts and the ability of the Service to meet its icebreaking and polar region responsibilities.

This is my warning to the Coast Guard: Please start saving yourselves from your own sinking ship.
