While recovery efforts continue, it is important that we also maintain stable trade flows.

Today, the subcommittee will receive testimony from the Coast Guard's icebreaking recapitalization efforts and the ability of the Service to meet its icebreaking and polar region responsibilities.

This is my warning to the Coast Guard: Please start saving yourselves from your own sinking ship.
