I am relieved that the administration, despite North Korea's alarming rhetoric, appears to fully comprehend the folly of a preemptive military strike on a nation which we believe is a nuclear power, and has finally agreed to at least talk with the North Korean government and to work with other nations in the region toward a diplomatic solution to the crisis. The situation in Iraq, however, appears to be heading in the opposite direction.
