As I understand it--and I am confident I am right--there is only $65 million in the President's request for emergency that we did not approve. The Senator is not on the committee. Let me tell you what we did approve. Fourteen billion dollars, as requested by the President, for the Department of Defense, for the war on terrorism; $1.95 billion for foreign assistance, virtually all of which was either requested or supported by the President.
