I think what’s going on here is that Governor DeSantis is so laser-focused on the 2024 Republican presidential primary, and going against Donald Trump, he is trying to out-Trump Trump and doing these kinds of things.
Crist suggests DeSantis is adopting extreme measures to compete with Trump for the Republican nomination.
