I have always admired Representative Talent's dedication to his family. He is a person among the Members here who puts his family first, and this child is very fortunate to have a father such as Jim Talent and a mother such as Brenda, who is a dedicated mother and the spouse of our colleague, and we are very grateful for their family, and I appreciate what their friendship means to me.

The gentlewoman is certainly aware that the Supreme Court has required judicial bypass. And if a judicial bypass procedure is not available, the State law is invalid and unenforceable.
Under the laws of all the States, those individuals that the gentlewoman has specified would be enabled to go with the young woman to a judge for the judicial bypass. That is available under all the laws as required by the Supreme Court.
I do not support the gun laws of New York. I think a lot of New Yorkers are moving to Florida so maybe that has something to do with the better legal climate in Florida.
The MSPA Clarification Act, which I am introducing today, seeks to ease the inequitable burden on farmers.
