Mr. Chair, I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle A of title XVII, add the following new section: SEC. 17__. PROHIBITION ON ASSISTANCE FOR BUILDING IN, OR REBUILDING GAZA. None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available to the Secretary of Defense for fiscal year 2025 may be made available to build in or rebuild the Gaza strip on or after the date of the enactment of this Act. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 1287, the gentleman from Florida (Mr. Mast) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Florida.
