Would our industry and private sector benefit from a clear government mission on turbulence? I mean, it's pretty critical.
I would think once you paid for total loss, you say, okay this is off the map, we are not going to insure this property again, much less more than 10 times, thousands of properties, perhaps.
When I was first elected 14 years ago, they said that to properly evaluate risk, they needed new maps, which would cost $500 million, and then, it would take 3 to 5 years to evaluate the maps.
