As I have shared privately with various people in the government, including NASA, about trying to take care of the workforce with additional work, such as an emphasis in this budget on research and development, it is my hope that you could see, in part of this workforce transition, that there is a specific plan put in place by NASA for that transition so that those areas that are hard hit by the retirement of the Shuttle and the cancellation of Constellation would have a softer landing.
