This very same bill limits this subsidy to $500 per passenger. Earlier on in this bill, that is a determination that this bill requires to be made. I am simply changing that figure from $500 to $250. It is, shall I say, unwarranted. To say that that is expecting any new law, enacting anything new, it is simply modifying another provision in this specific act. The Acting CHAIR. The Chair finds that this amendment includes language requiring a new determination. The amendment, therefore, constitutes legislation in violation of clause 2 of rule XXI. The point of order is sustained, and the amendment is not in order.
