The President made clear in his State of the Union he believes the police are a key to dealing with our violence issues in our communities.

He believes, as I mention in my opening statements, these aren't just programs, they are promises to generations of America's seniors.

There have not been cuts from the President, presented in the President's budget, or administratively.
