This President believes we have to keep investing in the American people, grow the economy for the middle class, give working families a shot in this country, and we can do that through a fairer tax code.

I helped get that program started in the Appropriations bill. It saved a lot of families from water cutoffs in the middle of pandemic.

We have to make sure that the United States remains the beacon I know we are and that we have presence in those places and make sure we are investing responsibly.

The President continues to call on Congress to send him a bill that lowers costs for Americans, lowers childcare costs, lowers health costs, lowers energy costs.
