Ron Klain: “Look, I think Senator McConnell still seems to be insisting somehow that President Trump won the election. He didn't.”

I think what people need to look at is the choice between what the President -- what congressional Democrats have done are doing, and what Republicans are talking about this season.

The way to beat down Trump is to unite the Democratic Party, and he had lost the ability to do that.

So I don't think rallies have proved effective for candidates in the midterms. And so we're trying something different that we think will be effective.

I think the president had won the nomination fair and square. 14 million people went and voted for him and the vice president as vice president.
