I think the president had won the nomination fair and square. 14 million people went and voted for him and the vice president as vice president.

But I think it’s an important thing -- to really honor the Constitution’s provision of advice and consent -- to get that advice from Democrats and Republicans, to consult broadly.

I hope the Supreme Court will intervene whenever the Nation's conscience and laws need a jolt in a progressive direction.

Voters have to see the clear difference between the two political parties.
